Every page on this site is written and checked by the Aussie Top Casinos editorial team, and every page carries the date of its last check. We publish under an editorial byline rather than personal names: the team answers for the page as a team, and the address below reaches all of it.

What the byline means

"Last updated <date> · by the Aussie Top Casinos editors" says three things. Someone from the team opened the operator's Australian pages on that date; the figures on our page match what those pages said; anything that could not be confirmed was left out instead of estimated. It does not say that we hold an account with the operator — what we check and what we cannot check is set out on how we rate a casino.

Where the facts come from

  • the operator's own pages for Australia — the cashier, the bonus terms, the T&Cs;
  • ACMA, the Australian Communications and Media Authority, for what the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 allows and which services are blocked;
  • BetStop, the National Self-Exclusion Register, and Gambling Help Online for the help section that sits on every page;
  • our own comparison tables, built from the two sources above — the AUD column is the one we check first, because it is the one Australian players get wrong most often.

Figures, dates and licence details never come from another comparison site. Where an operator publishes nothing for Australia, the page says so instead of filling the gap.

What this site holds

120 pages, counted: 34 casino reviews, 17 bonus pages, 5 game guides, and the rest hubs, payment pages and legal pages. All of it is written for players in Australia and quoted in Australian dollars.

That number is small on purpose. A guide that covers every brand accepting Australian players would run to several hundred pages, and nobody could keep several hundred sets of bonus terms current — which is how comparison sites end up quoting an offer that was withdrawn two years ago. We would rather carry thirty-four reviews that were opened this quarter than three hundred that were opened once. When a brand stops being worth a reader's time, the review comes down rather than sitting there going stale.

Corrections

What we do not do

  • No stories about our own accounts, deposits or withdrawals. If a claim cannot be checked against a published page, it does not belong in a review.
