How we rate a casino
Every casino on this site goes through the same five checks. The score you see next to a brand is the weighted result, and the order of a table is the score — nothing else. Paid placement does not exist here.
1. Banking that works from Australia (30%)
An offer is worthless if you cannot fund the account. We check for PayID, POLi, Neosurf, Flexepin, CashtoCode and bank transfer, whether the account can be held in AUD without conversion, and what the operator does with crypto. Since 11 June 2024 credit cards and crypto cannot be used for interactive gambling by Australians — operators that pretend otherwise lose points.
2. The welcome offer as published for Australia (25%)
We print the amount published for Australian players, in Australian dollars, with the wagering requirement, the minimum deposit and the maximum bet while a bonus is live. A 300% headline with 60x wagering scores below a 100% offer at 35x.
3. Payouts and verification (20%)
How long the first withdrawal takes after documents are approved, what the daily and monthly caps are, and whether the casino asks for verification before or after you try to cash out.
4. Licence and ownership (15%)
Which regulator the operator answers to, who owns the company and how long the brand has been taking Australian players. Online casino games are not licensed inside Australia, so this is about the overseas licence and the operator's record, not about a local permit.
5. Support and fair terms (10%)
Live chat response time in Australian hours, whether the T&Cs contain traps such as bonus cancellation on a single big bet, and how complaints on public forums were resolved.
What removes a casino from our tables
- No Australian welcome amount we can confirm from two independent sources.
- Confirmed non-payment of a verified player, or terms that allow it.
- Marketing aimed at minors, or "guaranteed win" claims.
